With over 1 billion people and a fast growing economy, India could be one of the world's leading casino destinations. The India casinos that are currently in the country are in the state of Goa.

Goa has had a few small hotel casinos and off shore casinos, but the government has recently approved five more licenses. The India casinos that will be built will still probaby be small, but at least its a start.
Other Casinos across India
Outside of Goa, India, there are occassionally reports of other areas trying to legalize casinos and gambling, but the talks really dont amount to much.
The world leading Las Vegas Sands has mentioned many times that they would like to take part in the India casinos if they are ever legalized. Until then, we'll just have to sit back and wait.
